Keeping secrets with a protected muck
Hi,
So a game I play in has the rule that anyone at the table can ask to see the hole cards of anyone that went to showdown. Semi-standard, I understand. The catch is that some dealers have what amounts to a "protected muck." For example, one dealer keeps the muck in a neat pile right in the corner beside his chip rack, somewhat guarded by his arm. Sometimes I want my hand to go in the muck and be unrecoverable, so people will stop asking to see my cards every time. But I can't do this unless I sit in the seat right next to the protected muck. Do I just live with this, or can I do anything? Thanks! |
