Standard Rake for 1/2 NL?

Casino Niagara charges 5 a half hour which is rather rediculous(even with the total idiots that play the game)is that standard for this game? Also would a rake to 4 or 5 be better for the players, I personally hate this rake structure as I tend to play more rock like than the average idiot on this tables.......
