I pull out the Big Sexy on the River
.50/$1 NLHE Full Table Villian and I both have ~$100.
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50. 1 fold, 2 limps, Hero limps, 2 folds, Villian calls $1, 1 fold, both blinds call. Flop: ($5.75) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players) 4 checks, Hero bets $5.50, Villain calls, 4 folds. Turn: ($16.25) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $10, Villain raises to $20, Hero calls $10. River: ($54) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Villian bets $30, Hero pushes for ~$73... Look good? Villian was very aggressive. Bet his TT all the way against opposition with two overs on the board. He's been caught firing second barrels a few times already and has been up and down. If he has a flush, he's getting in probably no matter what on the end. If he has air, which I half-suspected, the only way to get more from him is to not 3-bet the turn, check to him and let him bet the river, which I was 90% sure he would do. Thoughts?? EDIT: I forgot to mention, one of the reasons I suspected air on the turn was the minraise. He had made legit raises with made hands before this hand. |
