Default Life expectancy of a post in SS...WTF

I have a lot of respect for SS and enjoy looking thru it. Really good players around here. I find a post I think is interesting, reply to it, come back the same day to find it on pg 4 or 5. WTF.

Even if no one gives a sh*t about what I or some others have to say, and I don't blame them at all, how can anyone learn anything about the play of a posted hand if it has a life expectancy of 10 min?

If it won't last a day, why bother? The sh*t about bangin ho's and assorted other frat house stuff that has zero to do with poker lasts for weeks. Is this the hang out forum for young, single guys, or the one for serious discussion about the merits of a play/hand for stakes lower than $30-60?

Just some ramblings from some forty something yr old guy, who's played pretty decent poker for a while now but still has a lot to learn, wondering wtf is going on with post after post with 4 replies each. It's quality, not quantity. Flame away.
