Borgata Tourney's and Dealmaking

The Borgata has changed there tourney's back to rebuy tourney's, which gives way to some heavy action and more prize money. In the beginning i made a few guys rebuy several times, while i only brought an add on which boosted me to 18K. Worked my way to the final table and came in fifth, when a curious thing happened. I don't want to say it was racially motivated because i am African American, but the final four players decided to cut a deal after i was gone which gave them $1500 each, while fifth paid $409. I took this as an afront to me as no deal was brought up when i was second in chips, so from now on my policy will be no deal making, and go for the whole she bang. Thanks for any thoughts.
