Where Did I Go Wrong?!
I'm playing in a 1000FPP qualifier on Pokerstars for the WPT event in Paradise Island. I've made it to the final table and there are 8 of us left. 4 qualify for Sunday's main event and the 5th gets 7k FPP's.
Since there were only 47 entries, the blinds are still 200/400; 25 ante. UTG open/raises for 800, 1 fold & I'm next with KK. There is 1600 in the pot. I make it 2400 to go. Everyone folds to the BB who calls and UTG folds. BB has about 500 more chips than I. There is 4600 TC. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB bets 2000. I raise to 12,500. BB goes all in, requiring me to call another 4K approximately. BB has JTs, with top pair, a gutshot str8 & backdoor flush draw. How does he call, much less put me all in? What does it take to convince someone you have the best hand without risking your whole stack? I re-raise preflop and then raise him on the Flop........ |
