I honestly do not think it can be played profitably from the SB. Unless the game is INCREDIBLY soft. Against people who play reasonably well, position is just too important. If you think about the actual hand, you will see that you are going broke here the vast majority of the time. You are not going to make money when you hit and you are not going to make money when you miss. Reverse your positions and he will have to pay you off with worse hands and you will not get stacked when he has a better hand. But out of position, he can get away from worse hands and you can't get away when he has you beat.
