they check/raise all in with good hands to commit an LP bettor into calling with a worse hand. They force bad players to play worse hands with bad implied and immediate odds so that there is only a PSB on the flop left in his stack. In sum they take away implied odds and exploit many players' tendencies to play too loosely in hopes to "hit a monster." They allow their small stack to encourage people to bluff them when opponents' bets actually have less weight.
