Three-handed with a good player and a decent player. This is the kind of situation I should be looking to avoid.
Button folds and I raise the SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. The BB, the better of my two opponents, three-bets. He'd do this with a big range of hands, probably any Ace, any pair, probably two broadway cards. I call, which could be a problem. Does anyone cap here? I play with this guy all the time. Flop is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. In some ways, this flop is more likely to have hit me than him. I check and call. Turn is an A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I check-fold. I feel lke this kind of hand is coming up a lot, and I'm not winning it. When I bet that scare card, I feel like I'll get raised consistently if he has any pair. If he has a pair other than the ace, he'll check behind on the river. Basically, he's seeing a showdown. Any thoughts? |
