why draw the line at 44? why play 55/66?

im not arguing with the choice, just wondering at the reasoning

say you are playing deep shorthanded, you raise with ALL pairs and whenever you get raised you KNOW your opponent has QQ/KK/AA or maybe AK if theyre that type, COUNTERINTUITIVELY you can call with a much larger hand range then if they make this play with many hands, becaise you know when you hit youre going to get paid off, and theres no doubt as to the scenarios that will occur, with you most often check folding

i think, and i may be disuaded of this in the future or i may recieve some sort of confirmation, that the key to NL is being unpredictable and never being able to be nailed down to that tight range
