Default B&M cardrooms aren\'t the only ones that fill up

Mason's article talks about the pitfalls of a packed cardroom, and states that "unlike the Internet, B&M cardrooms have the potential to fill up." Unfortunately Internet cardrooms can fill up too.

At UltimateBet, for example, there has been only one 2/4 Triple Draw 2-7 table. Sure, the population of players isn't large. But in the past we've had a full 6-player table running and still had three people on the waiting list, with no new 2/4 table available. (Multiple tables are available at 1/2, but not an unlimited number there, either.)

This might be a perfectly reasonable limitation based on reserving server capacity so that all existing tables will be able to run. Or it might be a stupid decision based on flawed thinking about online games. But there is nothing inherent about online gaming that prevents the same sort of issues from arising.
