Why the need to convince others?

Why do people find the need to convince others that online poker is fair and square? I just don't get it. If you are a winning player good for you. Why do you guys have to bash naysayers into the ground?

I can see maybe because you don't want the accusations to scare away fish.. However, it's not like the fish read the posts on this site anyway.
