Default Datamining over a Network?

I have seen a few posts that talks about datamining on more than two computers, but I can't find any instructions on how this can be done. I just bought a new computer yesterday, and I want to set it up so that I am datamining on one while still playing on the other, or datamining at both when I am away.

I am having trouble visualizing how this will work though. How do you guys get it so that you are datamining on two seperate computers, yet all the data shows up on one of the computers? Any thoughts will be appreciated.
