really disagree. i generally straddle 70% of the time in a 2/5 game and 20% of the time in a 5/10 game. i won't get into tripling and doubling straddle though.

it just creates action to be honest. and it might be -EV every time you look down and see 82o, but the few times you get the winning hand it usually results in a nice BB pot. just pretend you are playing a 3-blind system.

maybe my 'logic' is flawed. like i said, i tend not to do it in bigger games (ie: 5/10) but at lower limits i feel it is a must to create some action and loosen the table up. (only if needed of course)
