Lol. First of all, average tourney won't last 5hrs, so you'd make more than $100 anyway. 2nd, you're forgetting about multitabling.
"Why would you deal with all the variance etc. when it seems you could make the same in cash games with less stress?" Some people just don't care about variance. If you're cashed up and only care about yearly results, then why not??
