I just have to write this. Mark Blade is first off, not a proffessional player. he has posed with (at tournaments )almost every pro player there is to begin with. He is a writer, and his book for the most part doesnt convey real opinions as much as it tries to give a for and against message regarding different issues of going pro.
i would go so far as to say that some of the flaterring posts, especially the one talking about his up coming books is coming from schills. This guy is cashing in on the poker boom without real credentials. There is not one item of unique distinction in this book, but there are so many wanta bes out there that it wouldnt suprise me if it does well. Masons review was mildly polite and made me feel that Mr blade could possibly come under the 2+2 umbella down the road. but that is just a gut feeling. good luck all |
