Default Laptop building

Consulting with some other friends that play online, I'm looking for a laptop with wireless card to mostly be able to play anywhere around my house. It's a matter of functionality and need right now. I multi-table, but not more than four at a time, and often not even that. I need to be able to run what's become a massive PT database with PAHUD, but pretty much any other software is optional. This laptop is for the most part going to be only for poker playing, anything else we'll add on only as needed.

Based on that, tell me what looks good and what *needs* to be upgraded to be functional. For instance, I don't want a Dell 9300 just because its screen is a little bigger than the 6000 when it offers me no real value to get the bigger screen...

Thanks for the help in advance!

- Inspiron 6k
- 15.4 WUXGA LCD (Does anyone know if 1600x1200 res is an actual option here? I know that's what's needed for four full tables with no ol.)
- 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM
- 40 GB hard drive (I've heard rumblings there's a faster hd that makes things run much smoother...is there really a difference if I'm only running poker software, and have 1 GB RAM? Has anyone played on both and can tell the difference?)
- DellŪ Wireless 1470 Internal Wireless (802.11a/b/g, 54Mbps)

Everything else is base/standard stuff with the Insp 6000. I got it down to under $900 with shipping included, which seems like a very reasonable price to me.
