Default I just have to post this....

This goes with my other thread of bluffing, this was one I tried to pull of tonight and well I threw away a good chunck of my winnings. So plz flame me because I deserve it, it just helps when it comes from other people.

Villan in this hand is very good, thinking player, we have avoided a lot of confrentation because of VERY VERY AGGRO player at the table in CO who is a total donk. (who we will call very agro donk)

400NL/6 max
Hero has 675
Villan Covers

UTG folds, MP folds, CO (VAD) limps, Button folds, hero raises from SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ( I was trying to isolate to get VAD heads up) but Villan in BB tags alongs, CO calls

Flop 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot 42)
Hero leads for 35, Villan calls, VAD folds

Turn 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (Pot 112)
Hero checks, Villan bets 35, Hero raises to 150, Villan calls

River 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (pot 412)
hero checks, villan bet 250, hero folds.

Once he called the turn raise, i gave up, anybody fire another one on the river, I thought for sure he would put it down on the turn, guess I was wrong. Obvioulsy giving up the pot on the turn is an option and frankly a better one than the road I took, but any suggestions/flames?
