Default Re: So I lied to UB...

hehehe...

This so reminds me of my first experience at Empire.

I'd made a play money acct there using a fake name, so that I could learn to play NLHE (I'd previously only played on yahoo games poker).

Anyways, one day I decide to make a deposit. I win maybe $30 or so playing LHE $.5/1 before they shut down my account and tell me to call them.

I call them and they say that I didn't use a real name. I asked them what they had down, and they said, "David Asdfasdf."

I replied, "Damn, I must have been REALLY tired when I made that typo."

Don't sweat it, bro. They want your money, so just call customer support, tell them you made a typo on your birthdate when you made the account, and that you'd like it changed. If they ask you to fax in some idea, do so.

Empire told me that I'd have to fax in ID before my account would be unlocked, so I told them to close the account: they sent me back my deposit plus winnings, and I made a new account the next day with my real name and a different email address.

No worries.
