Default Buyout option on a dumb sidebet

Lots of beer and testosterone on FF draft night. A guy was going to take Drew Bennett before Holt in the 3rd round. We start laughing and he gets defensive and wants to make a sidebet on Bennett touchdowns. We go 7 for $500. 6 I win 8 I lose. He had 11 last year, but 8 in three weeks with Volek chucking to him. Other than that, he had 16 in the 4 years of his career.

I was regretting the bet the moment that I made it. I wish that I would have pushed for 7.5 and I still don't think that I would have liked it.

6 weeks in, he has one. The guy wants to offer a $100 buyout.

Should I cut and close and be done with this? All he would need would be 7 in 10 weeks and as streaky as he was last year, I don't think that it is far out of the question.

On the other hand, my $150 bet on Peyton's TD's (I have the under 39) and 5-1 under 50 for $100 looks pretty solid.
