Default AQ misses, heads up, paired board, bet the turn?

I raise with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Blinds call.

Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
I bet, SB folds, BB calls.

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

There are pros and cons to betting here.

If I bet, he may fold. It may get me the chance to check the river. He may also be on draw, and I may have the best hand, in which case I'd like to charge him. On the other hand, I leave myself open to a check-raise bluff. Or, if he check raises with a ten, I don't get to see the river, where I might catch a card to beat him. Also, he might call and bet the river.

so, which is the better play?
