Question about Party rakeback

Sorry for the naivete, but I have been out of the loop a little recently, and after having seen the outrage expressed at people losing their rakeback programs due to party defecting I am a little confused. Did Party scrap their own rakeback program? Or are people just annoyed they can't get rakeback from Eurobet, Empire etc anymore? Need to know, thanks in advance...
