Fearing set over set: how would you play it? Maybe not so interesting.
Villain is 18/12/2.4. Over like 12000+ hands. He is a winner in the game, for about 1bb/100. He is overaggressive postflop in my opinion. We obviously have an extensive history.
Party Poker 50/100 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is CO with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 5 folds, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero caps, Button calls. (this was not a move I usually make, but I thought that his 3-betting range was large and that I could get him to fold some hands post flop with the cap cause usually I have aa-jj, ak). Flop: (9.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls. Turn: (8.75 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls. River: (16.75 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 18.75 BB He absolutely knows that I won't go crazy against him in this spot without a very good hand. |
