One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

Several months ago I posted a request for movie recommendations and this was one of the movies that was recommended. So later that night, I went to Blockbuster and rented it, only to learn upon my arrival at home that the goon working the counter left the security bar in. Too lazy to do anything about it, I returned the movie a week later and chalked it up as a loss due to not being observational enough.

BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT.

I finally saw this movie today, and what an incredible performance by all parties. The myriad of emotions it manages to evoke is equally as impressive.

This really is one of those movies that you "have" to see.
