2nd Vegas trip, 1st for poker

Hi folks, hoping to get a little advice for my first B&M visit. I'll be staying at the Tropicana Oct. 10-13. between flights, I plan on having 6 sessions. I'm curious to know which levels to play with my $1000 bankroll.

I'm leaning towards 2/4, but Phil H. tells me i'm throwing my money away with rake + tips. Coming from Texas, I don't get to see a whole lot of limit games. I'm really used to online micro limit and live low buyin tourneys. I'm positive in winnings at both, but by no means sitting on a couch stuffed with $100 bills.

I plan on hitting Bally's, Paris, and Aladdin based on my research at allvegaspoker.com. I'm primarily looking for some loose action, but not sure how Monday - Thursday will cater to that wish.

any advice would be appreciated!
