[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] 1) I have a copy of ToP that I still haven't finished. Will work on finishing that. 2) I'll be leaving 1/2 6-max shortly. I've moved up before, but instead bought myself a new laptop with a portion of my BR, and am ready (bankrolled) to move up. (any suggestions on a good place to play 2/4 6-max? ) 3) I need to start utilizing PT for post session analysis. I'm sure that there is a bunch of leaks that I have which would be easily plugged if I just spent the time to WORK on my game. 4) Determine and implement organizational strategies to hopefully make my life a little less eratic feeling. Finish reading Getting Things Done and actually work on using somet of the strategies. [/ QUOTE ] I'd probably try Stars first for 2/4 6 max. Absolute is another option, but I'm not sure. I played about 10k hands at Absolute, and I found the games to be somewhat tough. Coupled with some nasty variance, it left a bad taste in my mouth. However, you can get a sweet ra****ck deal there, and the (virtually unlimited, moderately quickly clearing) bonus doesn't count against your MGR for it. I made much more in free money there than I did in actual poker winnings. You could also consider getting a few more BB at 1/2 and going to 3/6 6 max at Party, which I've found to be softer than Absolute or Stars 2/4. [/ QUOTE ] I've already played about 1000 hands at PS 2/4 clearing their recent bonus (since playing at 1/2 is too slow for bonus clearing) and felt like I was playing well. But the stickler is that I don't get a [unmentionable] to fall back on there. I already have an account at absolute, so I can't get rakeback there. I've considered playing there for the bonii as a cushion for my 2/4 lessons, though. I almost have 300bb bankroll for 3/6 and I'm mentally "willing" to take the shot and move down if I hit a 100BB downswing...so maybe I should do that? I've been a 3BB/100 winner at 1/2 for about 25K hands, so I think I'm at least a decent player....and [unmentionable] can make up for my shortcomings. |
