Question re: EV allins in the first hour of a live tournament

Wow this topic rears its ugly head again. Like someone else said, if you are the best player there then maybe you can pass on a 51-49 edge but if you pass on a 80-20 edge you're not the best player.

I think the best way of looking at it is that its a coinflip, but your opponent needs to be right 5 times in a row to win.
