I agree. John's book is MUCH more advanced than mine, and he is a MUCH better player than I am.

Mason published both on the same day, and they are aimed at different audiences. Mine is for people who need basic help; John's is for people who already understand the basics.

If you are an advanced player, you probably don't need my book, but you should certainly buy John's. If you are not an advanced player, you would probably benefit from reading mine and then his.

I must add that many people feel they are advanced players, but really do not understand either poker strategy or its psychology. Unless you have solid evidence that you are an advanced player, don't assume that you are one.
