Hell yeah, I do that too. That's right about when my opponent looks at the dealer and says, "May I have a chip count, please?" I would like to know the name of the card room that won't accomidate this.

edit: ok... I guess this is simply an argument of semantics.

Stop calling it a rule, start calling it a "de-facto standard". I know that's harder to type and possibly even harder to remember but lets face it, it's not a *rule*
