Moving between limits - question for top players

I've never played above 5/10, but I think the reason is this:

Some people who play the big games like 25/50 are smart enough to realize that those games aren't always worth playing, so they will play 5/10 in the meantime.

Since 5/10 is your biggest game, you dont have to worry about dropping down for lack of action because there is basically always a good 5/10 game going.
