BB checks, UTG bets $2, I call, BB folds. 2 to the turn.

Please comment on all streets. The street that made me post this hand is the turn. When that 7 comes, I may not get paid of properly in case an 8 comes. That combined with the $4 bet into a $7 pot, should I fold, call or raise? Or maybe I should've played the hand completely different from start to finish?
