Default Waiting till the river to raise with trippers

I took an odd line here. I raisesd preflop to isolate a weak player so i'm cool with that. Villain here is 43/10 with turn af of 1.4 and flop af of .4 after 80 hands. When he checkraises me on turn I think this is either a weird line with an ace or a big hand, possibly a boat (although wouldn't 2 pair usually checkraise the flop). I waited till river to raise for a few reasons:

1) I feel I should put in more bets somewhere, even though I risk getting 3bet.
2) I am less likely to get 3bet on river (although boats are probably gonna 3bet me anyway).
3) If for some reason he was bluffing I get more bets.

Who calls turn and river? Who raises turn?
