Default Calling down with 2-2 in a heads up pot

Hero is MP with 2-2. Villain is in late position. Hero opens and villian three bets. Folds around to hero who calls. I've been limping with too many hands and catching excellent flops, so i'm assuming villain doesn not give me credit for a decent hand. I am confident he's three bet with AQ or AK.

flop J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

i bet, and villain raises. at this point i strongly suspect him to have two overcards, and not a premium pair.

turn is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

i check, and villain bets, i call.

river is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for a board of

J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

i bet just in case the villain doesn't, and figure that if he doesnt have a big pair he has to muck. Much to my surprise he raises me..... Very interesting conclusion....

Call? Fold?
