Perhaps something interesting is seeping into this thread, like a series of cords just at the edge of hearing.

Music and Humor are universals - that is - they are found in every culture or human group known, just as 'religion' is also universal [There may be 'exceptions' to this, which would be very interesting in itself].

I would suppose some anthropologists have studied and figured out why this is? Are there any expert anthropologist types on this forum?
