thin value bet?
Yes, probably should have raised PF.
This hand brings up an interesting question. This situation happens sometimes where Hero can beat nothing and can only lose or tie so I probably should have c/c'd right? I certainly have to call a raise against this unknown. I bet out of blind frustration and the outside chance that my villain had the ability to make a "Big" laydown or read the board wrong. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: (3 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, BB folds, Button calls. Turn: (2.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button calls. River: (4.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button folds. Final Pot: 5.50 BB P.S. I was originally just gonna post this as a dumb (LC) laugher but then it got me to thinking. Thoughts? |
