Noob post; How do you play a missed re-raised pf AK on the flop?
Questions simple. Someone raises the standard amount, and you re-raise with AK. They call, the flop comes. Total rags. The question is now, what do I do?
Example hand to work with: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter UTG+1 ($49.25) UTG+2 ($48.40) MP1 ($4.50) MP2 ($98.50) Hero ($50) CO ($49.50) Button ($51.75) SB ($18.30) BB ($45.55) UTG ($62.65) Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG raises to $1, 4 folds, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, SB (poster) calls $3.75, 1 fold, UTG calls $3. Flop: ($12.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $8, SB folds, UTG folds. Final Pot: $20.50 As you can see here, I had position, but what if I was out of position? Do I take a stab? Check and see? Whats a good line here? |
