Easy Fold in a MTT?

This is a local donkfest bar tourney with about 70-80 people, top 3 payout. I need to get into about 8th or better to qualify for the championship tournament.

Blinds are 50/100.

Starting stack is 1500 in chips.

We are about halfway thru the players. So put the average stack around 3K. My stack is at about 2500 chips

In Middle Position I get dealt Pocket 3's.

UTG raises all-in for 900 chips.

Folded around to me in Middle Position with 9 players at the table. Calling would leave me in a fairly painful position on an aggressive table. I can find much better places to get my money in with more than an at best coinflip situation.

Easy fold here? Obviously I would have won the hand and it turned out that another short stack behind me called so I was getting a nice pot but they did not counterfeit any of their outs so I had do doge 4 overs to win (which would have happened). I felt like it was a good fold.. but just wanted some feedback.
