2/4 O8 w/ kill @ Taj - Underfull hand
2/4 with full kill at the Taj on Saturday afternoon, players are pretty terrible.
I waited for my big blind a full round. Villain is a big donk, running his mouth about the 3/6 2-way game. He's called down with A6 lows, bottom two pair, haven't seen him raise. He's playing any middle cards, any ace with a card under 8, and showing down something like TT for high. Anywho, 7 limps to me and I check 99J3 in the big blind. Flop comes A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, I bet, only MP and Villain call. Turn A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I probably still need to bet here, so I do, only Villain calls. The problem is, what is a safe card on the river besides a 9? Any baby would seemingly make him the nut boat. Do I just check/fold? River is an ugly 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check, Villain bets, everyone fold here or is there any value of calling hoping he just has low? |
