Live 1/2 NL
I am at a full-table, 1/2 NL game at the Flamingo. The game is really loose and passive, as always. My reads on the players are as follows:
SB is passive and loose, but not as loose as the rest of the game. He will call draws incorrectly, however he will also fold if the bet is high enough. In other words, he knows what hands are good and what are not, he just has trouble letting one go. BB is extremily loose. He will call, as far as I have seen, any size bet on a draw. He will call any large raise with any A as well. Lastly, MP is new, so I have no reads. All I have seen is him win a pot with K2o, which he called a raise with, and he bet out hard the whole way. I am UTG+1 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, I make it $11 to go, 4 players call, as well as both the blinds. The flop comes: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB ($185 behind) bets $25. BB ($450 behind) calls, I call, MP ($85 behind) raises to $50, folded to SB who calls, BB calls, and I call. The turn is the J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Blinds check, I bet $100, MP calls all-in, and both blinds call. The river is the K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB bets all-in ($35), BB calls, I call. Now, I think I am beaten by one of them, who has the flush. However, with the size of the pot, I had to call, I think. Also, I could have pushed the flop, but with the reads I had and the action these players tend to make, I felt that I would see a safe turn (the J being VERY safe) and betting hard there instead. Thoughts? I want to post results, but I mustn't! |
