This came up from an RGP post.
If a player goes all-in preflop, and it is not the proper amount to reopen the betting, does that affect the ability of other players to raise? What about the blinds? Limit- $5/10, UTG goes all-in for $14. Can anyone raise? No limit- $2/5 blinds UTG goes all-in for $9. Can anyone raise? Tournament- any different rules than cash games? The general rule to reopen the betting is half-bet in limit, full-bet amount in PL or NL. Is there an exception preflop, or does the all-in cut off the action? |
