I don't like it. Someone has you beat at this point and your raise isn't forcing someone to call 2BB cold, so it just looks to me like you're sweetening the pot for whoever has the best hand. If you could force out a player and buy some outs, the raise would have some value.

You might get UTG to fold, but given MP is a calling station at this point, there's no reason to believe he won't call again. Maybe, maybe, you'll make UTG fold a better hand and MP has a worse hand and is on a draw and will check behind on the river. However, I seriously doubt that's the case often enough to warrant the turn raise.

Oh, and I check the flop. If you get enough callers, I check/raise for value, otherwise you might as well see the turn for 1 bet. You're not taking down the flop with a bet, so it'd better be for value. You're out of position, so you're not getting a free card either.
