Dogmeat\'s Contest ends - good and bad news
Well, good and bad news for my 30-day contest to see if I could run $122 into decent money.
Good News: I ran the money up Bad News: I ran it down at the end Good News: 44-hours made me $36 an hour Bad News: I usually make more Good News: Final roll is $1691 Bad News: Four posters tied! There was a tie-breaker in effect - my top two tournament finishes. I'm sorry, but I only played a few minor ones, and they were 17th place and 26th place. Toss guessed 1 9 and missed by a total of 33 spots CLC guessed 2 8 and missed by a total of 33 spots Handsome guessed 8 9 and missed by a total of 26 spots Dink guessed 1 5 and missed by a total of 37 spots This means Handsome wins first place, and I will play tournaments for a total of $339 and Handsome will get 20% of my winnings (actually, I will play a $215 and a $109 tournament, so technically $324). Handsome, you also have the option of taking the cash (20% x 20% = 4% of bankroll) or $68, and I'll round this up to $75 - answer in this thread please. Toss and CLC tied for second place, but I feel bad for Dink - so, since I had no provisions for a tie (after the tie-breaker) I'm going to make this a 15% prize instead of 10%. Each of you has the option of taking $17 in cash - and I'll round this up to $25 (15% x 20% = 3% of bankroll divided by 3), or taking 33% of my winnings in a $55 entry tournament of your own. Please answer in this thread. After all four have made their decisions I'll either transfer the cash, or post what tourny's I'll play and my screen name and you can watch - or just check later to see if I cashed. And, as a final twist, if all four of you wanted, you could take my action in a $500 entry WCOOP tourny in Sept. and the payouts (if any) would be: 12% for Handsome and 4% each for Toss, CLC and Dink. Hope everybody had fun. Best, Dogmeat [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |
