So, I was playing a shorthanded 5/10 limit game, made a questionable flop play and won a good pot.
Then all hell broke lose form one of the players, calling me things I would not like repeat in this forum, blaming me for costing some player a huge pot and actually suggesting that I should pay the money back. But, I must admit that flop play was questionable and I would like to have yours opinion on the hand. Here we go. 5 Handed 5/10 Limit Preflop Hero is MP with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG calls, Hero calls, button folds, SB folds, BB checks Flop (3.5 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) 2 checks, Hero raises, 2 calls Why did I raise? To semibluf, to buy a free card on the turn and to gain informations. Was that a bad play? Turn (6.5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) 3 checks That was a good and a bad card. It could have made some one a top pair, which eliminated tree outs(and made an ace pair on the river dangerous) but the club bought me nine outs. I thought about raising as a semibluff, but didn't - I wouldn't risk a check raise. River (6.5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG bets, MP folds, Hero raises, UTG re-raises, Hero caps, UTG folds(I have no idea why...) Was that a bad play. Should I pay the money back? Martin Carlsson Aalborg Denmark |
