Default Implied odds with draws

Can you make a call on the turn knowing well your opponent has a huge hand and will cough up his all/ost chips in the end. Even though he makes such a large bet that it is not odds to call normally, like pot sized? And both stacks are huge compared to the pot?

I ran into this situation the other night.
1. I was pretty sure the opponent misread my hand
2. Almost sure he had 2 pair the way he played it
3. He was, how do you all call it? a donk?
4. I had a flush draw and hit on the river taking his whole stack justifiying the call on the turn.
