Someone else said that Simpsons wasn't. I guess I don't know the official definition of sitcoms. As far as laugh tracks, I think most/all shows would be better without them. I think of Sports Night. Loved the show. Then it got cancelled and later on Comedy Central picked it up and aired the reruns, but added in a laugh track. It was unwatchable. I don't need to be told when to laugh.
