My idiot buddy is a Sox fan

OK, check this out. I am a Yankee fan. I got into a discussion w/ my buddy who is a Red Sox fan. I told him I didn't think NY was making the playoffs but that Boston wasn't making the WS because of their bullpen. I said my pick was the Angels. He says I am showing my bias toward the Sox because I didn't pick them to win the AL pennent. What the hell more could you ask from a Yankee fan saying we won't make the playoffs?
