How bad did my friend play this hand?
15-30, loose game. My friend wins a nice hand but I can't seem to convince him how badly he played. Comments.
------------- ok, you're going to love this one. I went back yesterday afternoon. I hadn't played a hand in 2 rounds. I'm small blind with q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5 callers when it gets to me. I call. BB raises, original caller re-raises, and somebody caps just because. 60 preflop and everybody calls, so I decide to see a flop based on pot odds. Flop is 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. So I bet out. Capped by the time it gets back to me, so I know I'm dealing with at least 1 over pair. Pot is huge so I decide to call. Turn is a Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I've got 2 pair. I bet out again now. raise and re-raise to 90. Still 5 players call 90 including me, but I know I need a river. There has to be a set out there. So I call for it because I had the guy beside me rooting. river Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet out. everybody calls. Nut spades, pocket 3s, and pocket 4s against my QT boat. $1300 pot. I ended up making $2150. Bankroll is improving. Jer 'lucky ass' Peesker |
