Short-handed, smallish blinds....what\'s your line?
$35+3 6-seater (pays two)
Unique structure of the 6-seater presents this condition now and then. To put it more generically, let's say it is in fact bubble time. And the blinds don't quite justify an open-push (or maybe it does?). ***** Hand History for Game 2353656856 ***** 50/100 TourneyTexasHTGameTable (NL) (Tournament 11385865) - 2005/08/16 - 18:47:55 EDT 2004 Table '11385865 1' (Real Money) -- Seat 5 is the button Total number of players : 0 Seat 2: Stubby73 (4345) Seat 5: noggles (1545) Seat 6: bluefeet (1375) Seat 8: smoesmom (1735) bluefeet posts small blind (50) smoesmom posts big blind (100) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to bluefeet [ Ad, 3h ] Stubby73 folds. noggles folds. bluefeet raises (250) to 300 smoesmom calls (200) ** Dealing Flop ** : [ 7c 8d 7s ] <-- t600 pot bluefeet bets (400) smoesmom raises (1435) to 1435 smoesmom calls all-In. bluefeet folds. What do you do with the 'swing and a miss' here? "pushing" PF (or folding?) is an acceptable answer, but I'm curious about the 3x, missing the flop, etc. You check, he bets, you fold. You bet, he raises, you fold. Just how do you go about a hand like this to minimize the damage? Is it as simple as limping if you're unwilling to push? |
