Villian is very solid and conservative. He had played about 10-15% of the pots and always showed premium hands when he showed. Preflop -- entire table had been very tight. There had been very few flops. Many hands were being taken down for min bets. 2.5x BB raises were good in most cases. I should have had a very tight image as well. Villain's re-raise signalled to me a strong hand, most likely TT-AA, AK, or AQs+. If he had a smaller pp, I think he would have pushed harder. These were my reads. I call. Is this a mistake given my reads? Flop -- I get an OESD and a backdoor flush. His push tells me that the flop was good to him and he doesn't want me to call. If he has QQ, then I have 12.5 outs (8 for SD, 1.5 for bd flush and 3 kings.) If he has KK, then I have 8 outs. If he has TT-JJ, then I have 9.5 outs and have to avoid FH. If he has AA with a club, then I might only have 6 outs. AK seems unlikely now, unless he has AK of clubs in which case I have 7 outs and need to avoid a club. AQ of clubs also gives me 7 outs. In all of these scenarios, do I have enough to call? I am sure that he is not bluffing, but I would give about a 5% chance that he's just making a move. |
