Default Poker and Life

I try to play perfect poker. I want to be a perfect poker player, but I know that will never happen. I will come close. I will become a very good poker player, never quite perfect, but I will try. I will try to make the best possible decisions at all times, whether it is to check or to bet or not to play in the game I'm not bankrolled for. My decisions will be flawed. I will never have all the information, but I will try to use the information I have. I understand that even though I may play my best, even perfect poker, that I will still lose. I understand I can put my money in with the best chance to win, yet still lose. I understand I can make wrong decisions, yet still win. Regardless of everything, I try to make the best - the perfect - decision at all times. At times I will tilt, even though I understand. I will lose control and make a decision I know to be wrong. I will go against everything I know.

I played the best poker of my life today and I lost. In the end, my goal is to make money.

If this is stupid, sorry. I'm stoned and it seemed enlightening to me.
